A wonderful time of year in the Adirondacks. The tinge of color is just beginning, nights are cool and the smell of wood smoke is in the air. The days can be just delightful with the lake still warm enough for swimming and paddling. Hiking is at it’s best with fewer people on the trails and views of the changing forest. All accommodations are in cabins with bath. Weekends often have a theme but any arrival/departure day is fine.
